The Town Question: My husband and I are looking for a place to spend a month. We are both writers and are looking for a quiet, beautiful, seaside town. Do you think Half Moon Bay is this type of place? I know the ocean is beautiful, but what does the town look like? Answer: The Half Moon Bay Coastside would be a wonderful choice as a place to stay. We are just 30 minutes south of San Francisco, yet seem a world away. Visit our historic Downtown Main Street for several unique shops, restaurants, and bed & breakfasts. Since we cover several other small Coastside towns, there are plenty of activities to choose from. Scenic country roads, ocean panoramic views, golf courses, deep sea fishing, horseback riding on the beach, fields of glorious flowers, vegetables, pumpkins, and Christmas trees, marvelous restaurants, superb hotels and inns, relax in a day spa, or enjoy small theater at its best.
